I bought a generic LTM to M mount adapter to use my Canon LTM lenses on my M6. The adapter is inscribed with the description "M3" on it and also its place of manufacture i.e. "Japan".
I find that the adapter will not mount onto my M6. I must confess that I dared not force it in lest it damages the camera mount.
I thought that there is only one type of M-mount and an adapter for an M3 mount should be usable on an M6 too. It seems I am mistaken.
How many types of adapters are there anyway ?
