Luigi case from Leicatime

Well, yesterday I received my new half-case from Luigi in rally aged brown, as well as deluxe strap and a soft-release. Today I received my "new" M2 as well. After burning through a roll of Velvia I could help but take a few glamour shots of the new combination. 🙂

Luigi's cases are absolutely beautiful, just like everyone else said. They are worth every penny. The smell is nice too. 🙂

BTW, there's a used black full case being sold on e*** by an American seller. Feedback looks good, but the usual precautions apply.

That's a handsome case, Kyle. Dig the sofa too. 😎

Luigi did a great job adding a removable patch to the back of my RD-1 half case. Delivered it to my hotel when I was in Rome. I never had a chance to meet him, tho. But he was very cordial in all our communications.

Yeah, the chair is pretty cool 😀 I've found that that chair is the best place to take shots of cameras, etc as the natural light is good enough for me to hand-hold the cheapo P&S cam indoors.

I got my case on Tuesday and it's marvellous. I really like the built in grip on it and the feel of the leather is wonderful. But as I now note in my sig, what does it mean when my most expensive camera item is a leather case? 😎

I still can't choose a color for my ZI 🙁

Well, I'm biased, but after agonizing over the choice for a long time, I decided that either aged brown or rally aged brown looks best on a chrome camera.

Cameraquest sells one case for all the R's, so my guess is yes they are the same.

Sorry for the delay in posting a photo of the M5 case, but I had sent the M5 out to Sherry Krauter for a CLA.

I love the case and the M5.

Here is a photo.

IMO that's doesn't tell enough. The Voigtlander case is a cheaply made case that isn't custom-fit to hug the camera like Luigi's case. That is, the Voigtlander case is designed to fit "good enough" on all the Bessas. I can shove my M2 into my Voigtlander case and it fits, but I tried to put my Bessa R into my M2 case and I knew it wasn't even going to work, so I stopped trying.

Very nice case and tripod! The camera's not too bad, either!
I'm sure it will be even better when it comes back from Sherry.
Thanks for posting!

Paulbe,

Saxshooter is correct. It is a Leica polarizer. I live in AZ, so it helps in the bright sun a lot. I also shoot over water and out of boats a lot, since my other hobby is Scuba diving.

Another happy customer....My M case came today, wow, what a peice of work. I opted for a black half case which is now spending some private time with my M3. Simply a wonderful case, and the strap.... very very nice.
