Luigi Case on a CL

Im thinking of getting one of these cases for a CL but I dont use camera straps. Can any owners tell me if the case requires the strap to be attached to hold it onto the camera? Thanks

The perfect fit between the camera and case was tight enough on the CL and Luigi case that I had, for the case to say on without a strap.

Yep, as Frank said, the Luigi case is a tight enough fit on the CL to not need a strap. But I love a wrist strap on my Luigi CL case. Still makes it a pocketable camera but won't slip out of my hand when in use. For whatever it's worth, I use the M Classics wrist strap which, as I understand it, is no longer made. But they do pop up for sale here on the rff occasionally.
