lux 35...how much?

hey joe,

35mm & 75 Summilux lenses fall into the category of "If you have to ask what they cost, you can't buy one."

No doubt your new lens will make you forget about a Summilux and chuckle every time you think about all of the money you saved.

you got that right!

at my level of play, i will 'testing' the cv 2.5 & the 1.4 to see if i will keeping the slower lens.
so far, from the flickr photos i have seen, there isn't much reason to keep the 2.5

as joe picks himself up off the floor, dusts himself off a bit, he smiles and really looks forward to the cv 35/1.4 lens that is in the mail...

I just wish I could justify the Voigtlander 35/1.4. :bang:

The CV seems to hark to the old Summilux design (at least in the external look). I was about to buy one some time ago, but read up on it and stopped on my tracks.

Not that I gave in... a little later, when illness eroded my ability to reason, I purchased an Asph 'lux.

Why, I wondered? 😕 I already had a very competent 35mm lens.

But then, you get images like this one from the 'lux...
