Lynx 1.4 'Bulb' No Matter Which Speed Selected

I've just purchased a Lynx 1.4 from Ebay, but unfortunately the shutter seems to work as though it were on 'bulb' no matter where I set it. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this please? I've never come across this particular problem before.

Alternatively, does anyone know of someone who fixes Rangefinders in the U.K. and how much (approximately) they charge?:bang:

did you fix your problem?
my shutter of the 14e didn't work when i got it.
there are many pages to repair the camera - maybe you try it by yourself?
