M2 shutter curtains

One of my M2's decided to detach a curtain from the curtain bar today. I took it apart to figure out what was wrong with it. I'm thinking it may be beyond my repair skills however my question is this,
can the curtain be re attached to the bar or does it need a new curtain?
anyone had this before? specifically the curtain separating from the bar not the drum,

like the metal came off the cloth curtain? I think this is bent or glued on... or bent and glued... maybe bend open the metal, put the curtain back in and clamp it back?
looks like you're in for a bit of work though- I think the curtains have to be removed...

I had the same problem with one of my M4's a couple of years back. Will van Manen fixed it!

thx HuubL, I was going to give Will a call tomorrow, did he just reglue it?

Don't know exactly how he did it. Probably opened the metal strip a bit and fit the curtain back in. He didn't change the curtain. Anyway, he did it with a full CLA at the time. The camera was super supple after that! Good luck!
