Hi All, I've just gotten back my first roll on my M3.
I noticed a light leak almost covering the whole frame. It happens when I shoot under bright light. Outdoors. All three shots I made outdoors had this. While my shots indoors came out perfect well.
Where could the leak be coming from? Doesn't look like a shutter pinhole to me...
From the negatives it is consistently affecting the top portion of the image. Read: light should be coming from the bottom assuming the negative is exposed the other way around

Im used two lenses there. A canon 50 1.8 and a 90 elmar
Something i noticed while checking the camera body is that the film door has slight play from side to side. Dont know if that could be a factor

What BLKRCAT said. It's got to be the baffles.
I had the same problem with my M3. Had it serviced and now its great.
One thing the repair man told me when I picked up my camera was I was lucky the old baffle didn't come fully detached and get jammed in the shutter.
Best,
W
