Your M3 was the one in the classifieds a few days ago with the purple finder I guess?

I'd love to have a M4P, too. The points which carry me away from the M3 are: no 35mm frame, most are double stroke, film loading and the age (fear to loose the finder due to detaching parts) and somehow the film-rewinding.
However, the VF of the M3 could be the better one.
So I'd rather go for the M4P. Right now I'm hunting some, too. Maybe I'll be lucky in the near future. Cross you fingers for me. 😉

Yes, the M3 in the classifieds with the pink VF was mine. The buyer was going to use it exclusively with his 15mm and 21mm lenses with external finders, so didn't really care if the RF was working or not. He had another M3 (plus an M4, M4P and a Voigtlander) if he wanted to use an 'authentic' M3 finder!
