I listed my M6 on ebay and bought a M2 and the auction is only 1 day old. 😱

Being an eyeglasses wearer I never got used to the led's of the M6 so I decided to get the M2 to go along with my M3. I have the Sekonic L-358 meter which is much easier to read than the M6 meter..

How much did you pay for your M2? I just bought one with 50 Cron for $980, so I'm just curious.

Yours is a very good deal, I would say. In HK, that would cost around USD1500 from used camera shops. Private sale may be different.🙂🙂

I got the body for $550 and spent an extra $20 for a new cover from Aki-Asahi since the original vulcanite is missing a couple of pieces..

Colyn, isn't the magnification in the M2 identical to that of the M4 and other M cameras? I was always under the impression that only the M3 had the really high magnification of 0.93 (or thereabouts).

In any event, congratulations! 🙂

I don't recall what the mag of the M2 is..I do however believe it is the same as the M4..

Magnification wasn't the issue with my M6 though. The problem I was having is the led's and their location in the viewfinder. Wearing eyeglasses made it more difficult to see the led's.

Thanks..I plan to put it to good use alongside my M3..

That sounds like an almost perfect combo. Your M3 is so nice for 50 and up and the M2 for 50 down. I've considered an M2, because I do like wides, but I have it covered with other equipment. I do like the M3 with the 50/90 combo.
