Hi,
I've just bought an M6 TTL, and it's my first Leica. I've noticed that at shutter speeds below 1/60 the shutter makes a sort of short, snickering noise immediatelyafter the main (very quiet) click of the shutter. The snickering becomes more noticeable as the shutter speed decreases (i.e. it's a bit more at 1/30, then more at 1/15, etc) until, at very low speeds (0.5 sec and 1 sec) it's clearly the sound of something mechanical winding down. Is this normal? I've run a couple of rolls through it and it gives great results (make that pin-sharp, contrasty results that make me realize that my old SLR probably needed a good service), but, like all parents with a new baby, I'm a bit worried about it.
Thanks for listening!
