Hi all,
This is my first post.
Just wondering on how to confirm what viewfinder I have on my M6.
I purchased it a couple of months ago, and was told it was a .72.
How can I know for sure ?
Thanks all for helping out

The .72 M6 finder has 28mm framelines as well (I think), where as the .85 doesn't.

Also if yours is an M6 classic as opposed to a TTL, then odds are that it's .72 as there were very few classic M6's with the .85 finder.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Also, being that the TTL models are taller, I think that they had the VF Magnification scribed on the front of the finder. Taking this into account I guess that's fairly safe to assume that yours is a 'classic' model (?) making it more than likely that it's an .72 finder.

If it has the 28/35/50/75/90/135 frameline set, it's a .72.

If it has the 35/50/75/90/135 set, without the 28mm, it's a .85.

If it has the 28/35/50/75/90 set, without the 135, then it's a .58.
