Leica prices dropping, do me a favour. Maybe used prices as kit floods the market.

Leica will not drop their prices, rather the opposite if possible. They just re-priced the 24mm/f2.8 with a very hefty increase because it becomes a nice 32mm on the M8.
The used market may be different. There have been some very competitively priced M7s on photo.net recently.

Yeah, don't expect price drops on new Leica film bodies. Used is another story. I saw an M7 go for $1675 on pnet and even mint bodies are having a really hard time selling at $2000. MPs are selling for around $2000 depending on condition.

I have been looking for a used MP, but prices seem to be staying around 2000 - 2200, if you can find one. I decided to get an M6 for now. M6's seem to be dropping in price here, the bay and p-net. But I bet M7's will also continue to drop (hopefully MP's too).

Appears that LN and Leica Certified MPs have dropped a few hundred dollars since the M8 arrived. Still over $2K. I'm still looking for BP .58 MP.
