M8 and Jupiter-12

Well I finally decided to bust out the Jupiter-12 to see how it would fair on the M8 and I was pleased by the results. Much better than my Russian 50mm that I got at the same time. Here are some shots.

I got a Jupiter-8. I tore it down and put it back together, I think its a bit soft. I haven't really took it out though, so my impression is solely based off of some quick shots in my living room. But I've used this J-12 on my M2, and liked it on film as well. Thanks for looking!

I did not know J12 can be used safely on the M8. Isn't the rear element go all the way in, perhaps even touching the shutter?

Thanks! I didn't notice anything amiss, no change in shutter noise, no signs of scraping.
