M8 IR Article

M8 infrared is a useful advantage.

M8 infrared is a useful advantage.

I was posting M8 infrared photos the first week I received my M8, over a year ago. When there were pages of negative threads regarding the lack of a IR built in filter in the M8, I was enjoying shooting raw IR photos. I still believe the M8’s ability to shoot IR, as a cool advantage. Bill

Totally agree Bill, the IR capability is one of the reasons I chose the M8. I'd been shooting HIE for years and the ability to take color, black and white and IR in one camera and not have to handle film in total darkness is a blessing. My IR work can be seen on the LFI sight here

and in the November issue of LFI. Thanks for the posts I like your work, I've tried to get other users of the M8 interested in it's IR capabilities but not many seem interested in it.

Well, I'm fascinated by IR with the M8 and I love those LFI landscape photos.

This is the first camera that I've ever been able to use for IR handheld.
