I was posting M8 infrared photos the first week I received my M8, over a year ago. When there were pages of negative threads regarding the lack of a IR built in filter in the M8, I was enjoying shooting raw IR photos. I still believe the M8’s ability to shoot IR, as a cool advantage. Bill

Totally agree Bill, the IR capability is one of the reasons I chose the M8. I'd been shooting HIE for years and the ability to take color, black and white and IR in one camera and not have to handle film in total darkness is a blessing. My IR work can be seen on the LFI sight here
