M8 on Reprovit focus issue

I have mounted the M8 on a Reprovit IIa. The image is in focus at f5.6 but out of focus at f8 in focus again at f16. Tried with a film body (M6ttl) yesterday, and it's the same problem. Is my lens on the Reprovit faulty?
