I know M8 Prices are decreasing, although it is not easy to see it through the internet. I wonder which could be the real price for a new M8.
Any "in shop" experience?

I have not done any valid research on it, but just anecdotally, I'm noticing the M8 going used at around $2400, +/- $200 or so. For some of us this can be an attractive, tempting price. There may be one in my future at that price. For others, the improvements of the M8.2 outweigh the lure of getting such a cheap digital Leica. It will be interesting to see if the used M8 price holds the line at the prices I mentioned; or goes up or down from there over time. The first digital M could become a collectible classic.
I wonder: will my Digilux I become a collectible classic?

In shop, it's 3995.00 USD. New, that is.

At Focus on Imaging, Birmingham, UK yesterday... Jacobs were selling brand new M8's for £1999 ($2855). And mint ex-demo models for £1699 ($2428).
This is the cheapest I've ever seen them. I think it was just a show price though, don't know how much they'll let them go for after the show.

I guess it depends a lot on condition, warranty and actuations. I have seen it between $2400 for users to $3200 for like new recently

And you can buy a brand new M8.2 at $4100 in some part of the world. Currency rate fluctuations is now creating new opportunities if you're paying in USD (or any strong currency, like Yen).At Focus on Imaging, Birmingham, UK yesterday...
