The M9P and M Monochrom are among the two best looking cameras Leica has ever produced and easily the two best looking digital RF's.
If Leica must have a red dot, why can't they discreetly put it somewhere on the back panel of the DRF?
I don't like to have writing/logos visible on my clothing either (nor drink beer from a bottle). There is something tacky about that red dot. A subjective opinion .. sure.
The lack of having one and the FL lever will in my opinion make the M9P the first "classic" DRF.

I must say the Monochrom is a damn handsome camera.
Personally I have nothing against the red dot but would have preferred it smaller on the new M with an option for a black one.
Waiting for the new-Mp now ...
