Mailing Address for Camera Leather?

I am another customer waiting for either my product, a return email (I have sent him three emails now, none of which have been responded to) or a refund.

Terrible service & I agree with Chris that he should consider putting a stop to new orders until he has cleared the back log or, alternatively, hire someone to deal with the extra orders (or deal with the communication side of things) ... If only Aki-asahi made coverings for the M4-P, I'd be ordering from them.

looks like a problem, got mine halfway across the world in 10 days. Sounds like he is doing a DAG, which is another post for another thread for another day.

I'd like to say that just as I was getting ready to attempt to modify the leather myself, Morgan sent me an email saying he had sent out the correct pieces to me.

Just got an email from Morgan apologising for the delay & confirming that the order had been shipped last week.

I have had great dealings with Morgan. I've had flood issues so understand what he is going through although I would have to agree that he should accepting orders if he cannot fill them in a timely manner.

On another note, I've sent my M2 to Shintaro for a repaint about 2-3 years ago (I've lost track of the when I actually sent it and the numerous emails which have gone unanswered). I'm out about $1200 US (500 for the M2 and 700 for the paint). Funny, he responded quickly to my intial inquiry that it would take about 3 months. Actually received an email that he received it. After an additional email, no more responses.

Given the situation with the disaster in Japan, I will let it go for another year or so before I email him again but am losing hope that I will ever see my camera or my money again.

Just a follow-up from my earlier post in this thread: I've received my Griptac cover pieces for the OM-1 today. I hope everyone else waiting receives their goodies soon.

I hope I will be as lucky as you. I ordered a cover for a Pentax beginning of Feb and also never received any answer on my mails. A few days ago a friend of mine posted and inquiry and got an immediate response.

Sometimes it helps wishing yourself luck. Today I got a message from the US Postal Office that my package has been sent special delivery. It seems Morgan is catching up.
Like the Romans said: patientia omnia rumpet (patience breaks it all)

The flooding in Vermont has been much worse than any since 1927 (the historic marker here), several towns nearby had 5 or 6" of rain in a few hours a few weeks ago, on top of weeks and weeks of very rainy weather and lots of late snow. Entire sections of state highways were simply gone (as in not there anymore- no pavement, no road base, no nothing), and over near Lake Champlain water levels remained 2' higher than normal for weeks undermining many roads. Barre had 6' of water in parts of downtown. My normally dry basement had 6" of water in in for two weeks with pumps running. Road repairs are still going on, and trying to get someone to do any repairs to your own driveway or repair anything requiring an excavator has been impossible. Those guys are working non-stop and are just now beginning to get close to caught up. The flooding has impacted most of us in any of the areas that had lots of water, and I heard on the radio the other day that some roads near the lake were just being reopened. Not sure exactly where Morgan lives, but he certainly could have been out of his house for weeks, or unable to get from point A to point B without adding hours to a drive each way. Vermont is still a pretty rural place, with lots of dirt roads and narrow two lane%2

Interesting to hear about the flooding. Maybe it could have helped Morgan explaining on his website that he's operating from Burlington VT so that people had some understanding for the situation, especially if not from the area like us poor Europeans.
Now we sometimes had the impression he disappeared completely.

I ordered a covering for my Rolleiflex from Morgan a few years ago. He emailed a few questions asked for some pictures of the camera and then I waited.....and waited...then I waited some more.

I emailed an inquiry to Morgan, then I posted an inquiry on this site. Someone gently told me to be patient, all would be well. He was right.

When it did come it was exactly what I wanted and fit perfectly. I can't be more pleased.

Last week or so I ordered a new covering for a OM-1. I understand he is having flood issues in his area. I'll just wait it out and one day, before the second coming of Christ, I'll get the stuff and be happy. Probably.

I just wish he'd tell us what is happening.

My leather came today. Very nice too I might add.
It would have come earlier but we had a Postal strike here in Canada which really slowed things up. He had a shipping date marked as May 21/11
