Have you guys ever heard of the Mamiya 135 AF (black) ?

I can't find any info on this camera what so ever... looks like a fun camera and the name Mamiya makes me interested. There's one for sale here in Holland and I think I can get it for a few euros.

Looks like a clone of another clone with a standard lens of P&S camera of era. Many companies made such cameras (Ricoh AF-5, Konica 35 something, Yashica, Hanimex etc.) back then so it isn't bad camera for what it is just don't buy Mamiya story seriously.

I found this camera on my favorite flea market and was very surprised that Mamiya also produced 35mm cameras, because I just knew the big professional medium format cameras.
The Mamiya 135 AF is an excellent camera and doesn’t look like that, because there’s nothing on the camera to adjust. You can only turn the flash on and off, and change the ISO-setting from 25 to 400. Otherwise there is no possibility to change something. The camera does everything by itself with the autofocus and a CDS-meter.
For me the Mamiya 135 AF is an absolutely hip-shot camera. You don’t have to care for anything. And the results will always different and not like you thought of.

The Mamiya 135 is one of a big family from the late 70s/early 80s. Nearly every company "needed" so sell an AF P&S in these days, all equipped with the Honeywell Visitronic system.
