After an absence from RFF, I'm pleased to see this thread back on the first page! I'm back in the US now, and with a stack of negs and a scanner on hand, I intend to add to it shortly.

The camera is still new to me, so I'm learning how to get reliable results with the 2.8. I realize I could also get the 1.9, but at this point if I was going to get another lens it would probably be the 45mm or 55mm (if you have any experience with either please chime in).
I also have the 80/2.8 for my 645E, and I use the Zeiss Jena 50mm, 65mm, and 180mm lenses made in Pentacon 6 mount.

Seeing these shots makes me think again about selling my 645 Pro kit.

I just sold mine. I could only get an occasional photo in focus when shooting wide open. I tried two different screens, and I have no trouble focusing cameras wide open up. I shot with a 58mm f/1.2 lens on a 35mm SLR camera that got me 95% in focus success wide open. No sure what was wrong with my Mamiya but it did not work out.

A new scan of an old negative shot when I was in Korea, using the 80/1.9 like I prefer.

Desperate but not serious
It's been a year since I used the Mamiya and the 80mm f1.9, but I brought it out for a Sacto trip a few weeks back. THis was the best shot of the day hands down. Though I think I was shooting at f2.8

It's tough as hell to nail focus wide open at times, but it certainly gets the job done

how much one worth now? (saw ebay average of $200). I'm thinking of a 1000s body + this and the 150mm.
