Has anyone here purchased a grey market Mamiya 7? How do you get it serviced under warranty? Will Mamiya USa service the camera for a charge?

No one here has purchased a Mamiya 7 from Robert White? Or from Hong Kong?

I assembled used M7II, 43mm, 80mm lenses and pano kit from ebay last year. In any case, I figure if needed to, I can send it to numbers of reputable repair shops for CLA. Mamiya USA won't cover but the warranty is for only one year. After a year, they will repair anything for a high fee. As I understood, grey market products are still cover, you have to ship it back to where your original purchases were.

I buy from www.harrysproshop.com and ALL my service for Mamiya is done by Kevin Lee (416) 238-1148.
Kevin does Mamiya service up here in Canada. He has the Mamiya factory jigs for alligning the rangefinder and he does it the proper way by removing the top over. He does not use the shortcut lame method by pulling off the little cover and focussing on a distant building. Best of all, he is much cheaper than MAC.
