Mamiya 7 Polarizer on Mamiya 6

Can anyone confirm that the Mamiya flip up/down polarizer for the Mamiya 7 will work completely on the Mamiya 6?

I'm concerned both about whether you can view it through the finder and whether the metering will work appropriately.
