I'm usually a Hasselblad shooter, but I just got a Rb67 and its a little different than what I am use too. I made the mistake of trying to mount and fire the camera when I hadn't cocked the body. Now with this lens it seems to jam when I fire it, other lenses work fine. Do I need to reset the lens somehow or does it need repair. Any knowledge from Mamiya users out there would be appreciated.

If you haven't got any documentation, you can find the RB67 Pro-S user manual on the M.Butkus site. There is a section on mounting the lens & cocking the lens shutter (page 13); "when the lens is installed on the camera while the mirror & the shutter are not set" (page 35); and "Special Pointers on using the RB67 Pro-S" (39).

I have not had the problem you describe...

I just checked the lens with the others that came with the camera, and with your help and youtube. I realise that the lens firing pin is ether missing or pushed down flush inside the mount, and nothing happens when I press it.

Lens recocking ...maybe?

I also recall some warning about pressing the firing pin, to be gentle or something.
and this that might be unrelatd to your circumstance but should be said....
: If the camera is placed with its back facing downward when attaching or removing
the lens, without mounting the rear body cap or the film holder, the coupling mechanism may
be damaged. Always pay attention to this caution.
