The depth of field, that can be done with the Mamiya bellows (C220 -80mm f/2.8) is quite nice

The Mamiya C220/C330 are great buys nowadays given people's obsession with rollei's and hassy's TLRs. I just love to buy systems or stuff that people are not crazy over and yet are hidden gems. The versatility of interchangeable lenses that gives excellent image quality together with their affordability makes this system attractive to new 6x6 MF users like me.

Check these samples out. The close-focusing bellows of mamiya c220/330 provides nice close-up shots.

This was shot on my C330F and 55mm lens, I have since sold the C330 though, way too heavy for me unfortunately. This was shot on Pro 160S and a 0.6ND Lee grad:

Depends on what kind of photo you pretend to shot.
Handhled? forget about P67, the mirror shake is notorious. I've shot the C220 80mm ƒ2.8 1/30 with decent results.

I can shot handheld with the pentax 😀 I tried, it works , the mirror slap is massive but so is the camera

Great photos - I had a C330 in the past and loved both the 55mm and the 80mm lenses. But the camera was so heavy that it was hard to hike with. In addition it was so big and strange looking that people would stare at the camera from a long way off. At first I thought that I was paranoid, but my wife noticed it as well. She told me to sell it as it was bothering her to have the people staring at me and the camera.

This is a shot from the 55 (as are a few more of mine on the previous page):



For years I used a 55mm lens that had nasty scratches and chips in the front element. It still performed pretty well and I took a lot of my favourite pictures with that lens.

seems to be a nice camera

I have to look at the focusing screen issue , it looked quite dark, and in a coal mine this coal be very troublesome
