Mamiya Universal Press

I don't own a Universal. I have the Super Press 23. You cannot do that with the Super Press 23. However, I have seen items on ebay that suggest you can do that with the Unversal if you have the right adapter back. Hopefully this will sever a a bump to those in the forums with a Unversal who may know. I will also try to remember to look at some information I have on my computer at work. It is a copy of the info Mamiya put out at one time.

The Universal can be equipped with either the "M" back frame for Press specific filmholders and finders or the "G" back for Graflok compatible equipment. The Super 23 comes with the back frame permanently attached. Usually the "M" variety, but sometimes "G". The "G" back will take Graflok fimholders, ground glass plates and finders which also includes those for the Mamiya RB.
