Here's several night-time mannequins from my 4x5 Speed Graphic. First two are of a local costume shop, and the second two are from a thrift store. The first shot was done with a Kollmorgen Snaplite 7" projection lens, and the other three were done with an unmarked 19th century 6" gem-camera petzval.

leighmarrin, for some reason the pix you posted have a (David) Lynchian feel to them, especially #2 . . . 😎

Heh... I take no credit for the strangeness on the other side of the window; the local window-dressers must watch some offbeat movies. I get off work at 11pm five nights a week, and there ain't much to photograph then, but I've enjoyed working with these "models".

Very nicely done Johnmcd! Artful composition with a riot of faces. I particularly like the placement of 'the other woman' over her left shoulder. And the reflection of the license tag of the car seems in about the correct position as well. 😉

Does the shop sell vintage clothing? Or are they just trying to attract attention? That's a remarkably realistic mannequin.

I'm glad you liked it. It was taken in Brussels, Belgium last month. I think the shop sold vintage-chic women's clothing. It's a great looking mannequin 🙂
