20 days, 13 hours, 21 minutes ~ no GAS

Doing good... until.... 😕 that evil Donald waved those defenseless, crippled, soon-to-be-orphaned Zorki.1s right under my nose!! I HAD TO take just one - JUST ONE!

Okay, too much drama. Bottom line -- I'M OUT! Out and waiting on the mailman.

Bravo It was for a good cause. Another rescued Z1.

51 days for me.

Am I out at the moment that I agreed to buy a couple of lenses, when I paid for them, or when I will receive them? 🙂

(Summar, collapsible CZJ 50 f2)

It should be fun to list what you have bought during March, once the month is over. So on April 1 (ahem) we will list our sins or our great achievement of not buying anything.

My thought is the "A" of GAS = aquisition = in hand. Lots could happen shipping-wise, etc. that would cause one to never actually "acquire" something he's paid for. So FrankS, til then... you're in! (IMO)

My recent purchase may not get here before April 1. Nevertheless, the deal I made with me was "Buy nada in March.... period."

O crap!! I just remembered my new cell phone has a camera in it!! That's TWO cameras in March. I have GAS attacks and don't even realize it! 🙄 Hmmm. Anyone have an LTM > Motorola adapter?

Ha. Guess who I would be in this Church...

Raid, How's the new Canon?

Anybody that really believes in this, feel free to use:

"My name is _________, and it has been xxx days since I last bought a camera"

in there signature.

I'm shooting for double-digits.

Brian: I sent a personal check and it still has not cleared, so I am waiting.
Since we are talking about the RFF Church, which equipment do you recommend for photography of a belly dancer in a church? This is not a joke. I will most likely attend with my wife a night of Middle Eastern music with a singer anda belly dancer performing in a church community center. I bet, all my photos will be out of focus; wiggly wiggly!

Joe: I don't have a rangefinder macro lens. Maybe I should use an SLR this time. Then, I have many options. I have the Vivitar 90-180 macro lens. Is this good enough?
