me & mp

The Hammertone looks absolutely fantastic. The only worry is how it will look once the paint starts peeling off (it will eventually). Some time ago I located one in a store in Pennsylvania for $3,400. Unfortunately, no matter which way I counted the beans, I couldn't make a bean soup. If you know what I mean 😕

I love the shot! if that was me I would have printied it large and hang it up on my office table or toilet! excellent!

Very cool photograph; I like that it does not represent any particular place or time (it could be 1966 or 2006)-that great coat helps make that happen.

For what it's worth, my chrome/silver MP has a chrome/silver 50 Summicron on it all the time. I was influenced by the same set up shown in the original MP brouchure as used by Michel Compte.

In the same vein, I have several wonderful issues of a Japanese published Leica-only camera magazine simply called "Leica" (main empahsis is Leica M) I got there 2+ years ago (and now get sent to me by a friend from Osaka). It is a fantastic magazine that is not only into fine Leica photography but also the aesthetics of Leica camera-lens-accessories-camera bag combinations. Issue #12 in particular has a special section on various camera body-lens combinations with photographs to illustrate the beauty. A chrome MP is shown with a chrome 50 Summicron...perfect. Do any of you about this magazine? I wish I could show all of you these magazines: they are tremendous ion quality of paper and photography and features, and an inspiration to this hobby, as is RFF.

All be well and shoot lots.

it's so funny, this day we went to Freiburg (50 km to drive) it was a beautyfull November day. Sunny but cold. Parking my car in the parkinghouse I recognised that my coat was still at home.
So the first hour I had to walk in my summershirt :bang:.
After our first coffee I was looking for new coat and this was the reason for the 100 year old looking coat. Be shure it is quite new, I've shot only 2 rolls of film with / in it 😀
The photos around us, shot by denis are here:

thank you Magus, I'll tell it Denis.
Denis used a Nikon Fm2 with 28 and 50mm Nikkor Lenses.
Film was Fomapan 100.

Yes Freiburg i. Br. is a city who has changed his face,
but it's still a lovely place on earth.
We often visit Freiburg, take coffes and photos.

We there shall make a RFF meeting!

regards,
martin
