Rolleiflex 2.8E, Ilford Delta 3200 Pro. Hand-held, so fairly fast speed and wide aperture. Too wide, obviously, to get quite the whole word in focus. (Focus was on "T".) Pardon my slight Newton's rings.

In such a devastating light, try to make the portraits either in an open shade, or, ask the model to "flatten" the face towards the light, like this:

Here in ENGLAND we will have to wait at least 6 months now before we get that 'Devastating Light ' again -- we are lucky now to see the sun for a brief couple of hours ! ( PS it's SUNNY at the moment -- quick -- take a photo ! )
