More cameras than shots
Did you use a filter on that, Lynn?
I don't look at this thread very often - great photo at the top of this page (2401)

Not sure if anything I've done here matches the tonality of what you guys have done, but I'd appreciate your feedback!

Quite a while since I've posted in this thread and though I don't have any new images to add at the moment I must say this is quite the page - I don't see a single image I don't like on here. Bravo people, bravo.
Fantastic picture! I love how the bubble and bokeh compliment each other. Very nice.
Very beautiful colors here, may I ask what film it is?
Sure it may not have the long scale tonality of some images in this thread but I'm not sure this image even needs it - look at the moment you've captured! My eyes first go to the background face looking to the camera, then quickly to the other face staring away, then finally down the net and the jumbled mess of limbs. My eyes make that loop over and over and over again. Keeping your viewer's interest in your image like that is often easier said than done. Well seen and well snapped!

Hello Brett,
thanks very much for your kind words!
It is not done with film. I use a digital Back with my Hasselblad.
Kind regards

Brett says it well/I echo him. Tonal range is a relative luxury, but capturing character and the essence of work in a compelling composition are more fundamental.

Thank you guys for your comments! I was so thrilled the day I took this photo. I have a few more but this one is my favourite.

Lots of excellent photos! Thank you all for posting them.
In celebration of the new Hasselblad X1D, I think I'm going to take my 1978 Hasselblad SWC out for a walk today. It's been too long...
