This thread has really just been a collection of (mostly American) gender stereotypes. I don't even mean this in a judgemental way but it's funny to observe that most of what is considered typical male or female behaviour in American culture (as shown in movies and tv but also in this thread) is very specific to America. That's not to say that there are less stereotypes in other parts of the world but they're different.
That being said, I actually don't think there's any kind of hobby that is inherently attractive. Talents are attractive, shared interests are attractive, lifestyles that are associated with certain hobbies might be attractive, being passionate about something might be attractive but hobbies themselves? I don't think so. If anything, I would say that it's usually the person that makes the hobby seem attractive and not the other way around.
