Talents are attractive, shared interests are attractive, lifestyles that are associated with certain hobbies might be attractive, being passionate about something might be attractive but hobbies themselves? I don't think so. If anything, I would say that it's usually the person that makes the hobby seem attractive and not the other way around.

I guess you are right but the radio show in the morning rush hours that brought up this listener game is not really digging that deep 😉.

They had some statistical data and they wanted to hear one single answer from a caller who had a chance to win a pair of tickets to whatever show or concert, I don't even remember. I have no clue who conducted the survey and where and how many women had been asked but I thought the result was suprising. Currently our poll is not showing the same favorite but that's most likely due the Y-chromosomes trying to think what women might think ...
 
I voted "woodworking" because my wife loves when I make something for the house.

Liz looked at the list and noted that her favorite hobby of mine (that makes sense right?) wasn't listed: cooking.....and the shopping that I love doing for the cooking....Gee I wonder why that's her pick!
 
Well, my girlfriend is the biggest breadwinner in this house, and I am not very handy, but cooking and full body massage will do the trick 😀
She also likes that I am able to fix her computer (I do that for a living as well).
Being able to listen actively is also good - can't really be called a hobby though...
 
Writing poetry,baby -- about her. Especially when combined with a portrait showing her beauty, shot with film camera on a wet print in b&w. 🙂
 
Heh, I did some of them: Rode a motorcycle ( alone) no good. Played a musical instrument ( saxophone), but when the gig was over, all the girls we made wet, grabbed the guy nearest to them... and wera gone ( the worst was the drummer, when he had the "kit" disassembled, everyone was gone) Then I found out PHOTOGRAPHY... Wow, seeing a nice girl and saying: You look great, let`s take some pictures.. after shooting some, you said: baby, with little less dress on , you look gorgeous... My first wife was a fashion model and I a young fashion photographer... That buzz didn`t last long. My second wife was a very smart editor. We traveled the world over. Now I am again a jazz musican, but my present girlfriend don`t find my playing very exiting...
