metering for cine film?

hey all, i know this isn't exactly rangefinder related (maybe 5 degrees of seperation) but i have just gotten into super 8 filming and have joined the kodachrome project after being given 10 films of kodachrome. After playing with a few cameras i have decided on a NIZO 156XL which is a fine camera but I want to meter externally. I know cine film is slightly different to meter due to the frame rate and shutter degree but i can seem to find a decent site that explains it to me properly. So does anyone out there know a good site or book that can explain to me how to meter for cine successfully?

Hello EcoLeica, I think that you must know you need to metering always externaly in cine, there are too many kind of light meter for cine film, I used Sekonic L-758 Cine, it is digital and has many function as cine speeds, f/s, telemeter inpoint and incident or reflected lightmetering, It is wonderful, in other hand you could use Sekonic L-398A, it has cine speeds and could use for reflected and incident light, it has 3 or 4 accesories to light measure, I film a scene using this last and it did excelent, I didnt make color correction for this scene and was very nice to use.
Now talking about books you must buy American Cinematographer Manual, you could buy it from 20dls in ebay, it explains cameras, lighting, lens, films and special techniques.
Try this book, it is your right hand, because cine film is not only shutter degrees, but is very very similar to any other photography techniques.
