90k... what are people thinking...
Maybe there's some nude selfies on that roll of film
What's that camera really worth? About $50
it's a two way street, you know.
Thank you for that, so where do Yorkshire's go between 9 to 5. I'm across the pond, so excuse me.
Mention of Miss Cyrus's camera does give rise to a question that I've often pondered and which I haven't found the answer to: why were Nikon film cameras like hers called N80 etc. for the market in USA, but F80 and so forth elsewhere? Can anyone shed light on this and/or point me in a direction to find the answer please.
Regards

Nikons attempt to knock the grey market in the US down a few notches
I feel like this is a circular argument.
I could just as easily respond, "ah, but do you do?".
We can talk about me when I make a thread complaining about people buying Lonnie Donnegan's fountain pen.
Dear Keith,
A cunning stunt, surely.
Cheers,
R.
holy c***, it's 90k bucks now....
You young people could learn a thing or two from us old people............
It will be a collector/investor. Maybe the buyer can reselll this camera after whats-her-name becomes a legend.
I'm pretty sure they've reached the apex of their infamy. Unless of course they happen to suffer an untimely death which cements their fame eternally at whatever level it is now.
I have to wonder if anybody knows of anybody else's famous cameras being sold (non-photographers of course).
Have you ever been to California?
