I have got it to fire twice and wind on after putting in 2 SR44 and some tin foil ...IT LIVES.
Now I need to get them to stay in place and do the seals
several hours late .....
The two battery contact points at the front of the camera started to move back into the body of the camera so I took off the bottom plate to find lots of corrosion around the battery wires and I think one might have come loose. The same contact plate mounts to the body and has also moved a little so maybe that has corroded or come loose somehow.
I'm going to write to the technician soon and ask him if I can send it off, at least I did get it to fire and wind on so it's not like the whole thing is busted.
