I have an X100 in the mail to arrive here at the end of the week. I don't know what firmware version it will have.

When updating, do you update versions one at a time, step-by-step, or can you update with the latest version and take care of the intermediate steps?

Yes covers all previous updates.

To check your version hold down the disp button while turning on.
