Mint Canon 7/7s price?

May I know what a Mint Canon 7 (some wrinkles on the shutter), otherwise perfect and a 7s body (no blemish, no wrinkles) cost? What will be a fair asking price to sell? I'm asking because the lens is going for a conversion, and I have no use for the body.

I have a nice Canon 7s and I`ve become very acustomed to it, but I want to "upgrade" to a 7sz with the improved internals and larger rewind knob - also the perfect camera for the f0.95

I'm also thinking of the 7sz to keep if I find one. But I quite curious that the price is so low. I thought that the Canon in its heyday was a direct competitor to the Leica.

Prices, in part, reflect scarcity. There are simply a lot more Canons than leicas in the marketplace. For much of the 1950s and and 1960s, Canon sold more cameras that leica did.

I just sold a Canon 7 in pretty good condition for 150$. The meter worked but the slow speeds required an adjustment.

I have decided to trade the 7 with the person doing the conversion itself and postage back to me. The meter works, but not sure about the accuracy.

I've never bumped into any "Excellent" bodies as described at prices as low as this. Maybe I've just been unlucky... ?

the 7s is worth the extra money for the cold shoe alone.

... just back from KEH and I see that the prices for all Canon rangefinders have spiked a bit. Even the P is spiking again. Glad I already have mine! Could not afford one now at those prices.
