Mirrorless 50mm FF equivalent

The Summilux-DG 25mm is truly excellent and well worth the money. I had the FourThirds SLR version of this lens (Summilux-D 25mm f/1.4 ASPH): it was the best and most used of my FourThirds lenses, although rather large and heavy. The mFT version is much more compact and images just as nicely.

Don't you have a summaron? I think that would work pretty well other than the bulk from the eyes.

I do have a Summaron but it lives on my M2 and so I'd prefer to dedicate a lens for the digital camera--and I wouldn't want to use it with the goggles anyways.

Ok, I know you specified just a 50mm, but if you have that budget why not consider keeping the Olympus body & adding either the VF2 or VF3, the decent Panasonic 14 2.5, the Panaleica 25 1.4, & the excellent Oly 45 1.8?
As suggested, buy used...Sell the 20...
A decent kit (28, 50, 90) for around 1k.

Well the only lens that I want/would use is a normal. I don't like extensive systems and so in my ideal world I would only have a 35mm and 50mm (speaking full-frame), but if I had to have one then it would be a 50mm. I think the real question for me is to figure out how much I value digital (over film). Right now I mostly shoot film but sometimes I take out my M43 and warm up to digital...I'm still on the fence between the two mediums.

I decided that I will stick with M43 for longer while and just add the 25mm.
