Forgot to mention that the Historics are where many companies introduce sneak previews of upcoming models, so there is a heavy factory presence.

Very cool photos Larry. The Monterey Historics are something I have wanted to go to for a long time.
 
I've tried to get my brother to make this (car week) a regular yearly happening for us since he lives within 50 miles of the track. Unfortunately, life has gotten in the way the last couple of years. We've cut down our attendance to the PBC Tour lunchtime stop at Carmel and the little car show mostly. The show for all the common folks on Tues(?) in Carmel is a good one too. He's wanted to show his Speedster there, but, alas, life happens.
I have plenty of pictures but don't use an offsite forum so they won't look good here smalled down to the size permitted.
Keep posting as they are appreciated.
 
This is my year of not photographing classic cars motorsport so what better than to enjoy the hard work and excellent skills of someone like you Larry. Thanks! And yes, you can get period Cinturatos (the handling, if not the price, makes you wince!).
