MP frame counter

I've recently acquired an MP and noticed that the frame counter stops advancing at 38. Is this normal?

I was just playing with the MP without film loaded. My M3 and M6's frame counter goes to 40 so I was just curious.

Totally normal. MP counter stops at 38.
