But it is kind of like "Sharing a Joke".

Maybe, but KR's website does also contains valuable information. It did succeed in explaining to me how to get the exif comment field working on the D50; a minefield of menu options and counter-intuitive button presses. No other site had that information, and it was even free..

And on a lighter note; you're aware that in medieval times, only court jesters could tell the truth with relative impunity? Packed in a joke of course, but still. Not sure if that's the kind of jester you're referring to.

i don't really like it when people call the M3 the best camera ever from leica. i mean its like ignoring everything else they did and saying that leica hasn't made anything for photography since 1954 :S

for me the best film camera ever made from leica is the MP :|

The M3 has the most technically complex viewfinder of the M line-up, one that is free of RF patch flare.

Interesting that any thread with mention of Ken Rockwell goes straight to the off topic forum these days. Like him or hate him he's relevant to photography and draws a lot of traffic to his site with his controversial views and opinions.

We don't have to agree with him but bagging him constantly here is a little extreme for me because whatever his views are he never appears to be deliberately malicious IMO.
