Since I never found a 85mm brightline finder for a reasonable price; I just got a multifinder - which I think is a zoomfinder, not the earlier version with the masks. The eyepiece looks large enough for comfortable use with eyeglasses but I wonder how the diopter may be... Anyone used such a thing?

I wonder how it works without parallax compensation which isn't supported by the accessory shoe of my Canon-P. Anyway, the price was right. Now a Canon V/VI/L (thumblever-advance) is on my wishlist...

cheers, Frank

That's a cool finder, I think I want one : )
With my Helios multifinder, also with no parallax correction, I have to remember to raise the camera about 1/3 the size of the frame at minimum focus, and gradually less at the appropriate longer focus.
That's odd that such a complex-looking finder doesn't have it.

Well, it's not the finder that don't allow parallax correction, but the Canon-P don't have the "ball" system in the accessory shoe that engage it. This works only with the V/VI/L models.
