Two months later I still want the black one at Schillers. Life is short. I wonder what sort of trade I could arrange for my silver X100?
I have to confess (it's pretty shameless) ... I did just that about 2 months ago. I got $1000 for the silver one (with lens shade) on ebay, so it wasn't fatally painful.
Go for it - It took me back to the 60s with my nikon s2 and the original Nikkormats in all black !!!

I haven't chipped or worn the paint on the camera yet, but I have worn the edges of the ThumbsUp... And brass shows through, just like the "olden days"

The camera has a die-cast magnesium top cover and bottom plate An aluminum alloy used for the body. Unlike the Thumbs Up, there will be no brassing.
