Hi!
I have been shooting with film leicas for the last couple of years. Started with a M2, after that i have owned a M4-2, m4-p, m5 and m6. Love them all, but i don't have the time and energi to develop and scan anymore. So when a swedish camera store sold a brand new Leica M-E for $3300 i bought it. It's an old camera with bad ISO but i have been shooting tri-x at iso 400 for 3 years so i don't care. I have tried the fuji x series but i don't like them at all..
Now to my question. Is there some must have accessories?

I've found my old Thumbs Up attachment to be a must have.
Really improves the feel, especially if you're coming from a film Leica.

The ISO on the ME is pretty good up to 1600... Must-have accessories? An SD card, reasonable computer, good calibrated screen (NEC Spectraview or EIZO CG)- not necessarily extremely large or new-, Lightroom and decent printer

Congrats, great lens, too !
Accessories ? None really, I don't like soft releases on my digital Leica, and would worry that a Thumbs Up gets stuck somewhere on my cloths or in my bad. Maybe a grip for bigger lenses and tripod use (I can recommend RRS for that).

Thanks! I am thinking of a soft release, always had one on my film leicas. Thumbs up is not really my thing. I guess i will buy a few extra batteries.

Can i remove the plastic protection on the bottom plate or will it leave sticky marks?

Yep. You can just pull it off - and off the LCD.

I'm pretty happy with my Canon Pixma Pro 100, very reasonable price for a 13 X19 printer.

The Pixmas are not bad at all. Personally I avoid Epson, as I do not print often enough to avoid nozzle clogging.
