My first Leica M Photos

Well, to be honest, these are not exactly the FIRST shots, but they are the first ones I've posted. They are from the second roll of film I put through the camera, Tri-X pushed to 1600 (my favorite film and my favorite way to shoot it).

I got my grimy paws on my first Lecia, an M4 with an M4-P viewfinder, a few weeks ago, as well as a DR and a tabbed 50mm Summicron. I went through three rolls before dropping them off to get developed, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. The camera is a joy to use, and the pictures it takes are beautiful.

We had a pretty nice autumn day here in Boston last Saturday, and I needed to finish off this roll, so I wandered around for a few hours to see if anything interesting was happening. It turned out to be a good day to walk around. I have yet to finish scanning the roll, but there are a few more good pics in there I want to share. I'll update this thread when they're ready.

great first shots. that chimay is tasty and strong. those belgian monks do know their brewing. that sandwich is making me hungry.
