These are some shots from my first 3 rolls of 400Tmax & Arista premium 400. These were shot with a Leica IIIc 5cm Summitar & an M5 with CV 40 1.4 I will be doing all my B&W from now on. What do you think?

The best camera is one that still works!
I think you've nailed it perfectly by the looks of it ... congratulations! So how did it feel when that first roll came out of the tank?

I held my breath, then relief.

My M5s need red dots!
Good job, K! Keep them coming, and, of course, congratulations!

Welcome to what I see as a trend to film and then to developing your own film.
The shot look great to me, and scanning is good. How were these scanned?

I had them scanned at Ritz here where I live. They scanned at high res. I need to buy a scanner next. I'am 54yrs old & have never done my own film before. Taken lots of photo over my lifetime, but got tired of waiting 1-2 weeks & paying about $20.00 a roll for B&W developing & scanning. More fun & cheaper, I will be shooting more for sure now.

Good stuff, I'm glad to see you haven't had any problems with water marks, that's usually the most annoying thing to resolve. But otherwise good work and next time you'll relax some more and enjoy it

I was thinking the same thing!
'Kknox' like me, is a late starter ... I'm 56 and only did my first roll of b/w a year ago!

I used a wetting agent after the hypo clearing agent. I read it helps with no water spots. Got all the stuff from Freestyle.

Good job. Better than my own first attempt a few years ago. They ended up covered in residue and water spots. Impatience is my downfall.
