My new Jupiter 3, after Brian Sweeney

I have no idea what the issues were that caused Brian to leave the RFF (and am saddened to learn of this development) but do want to convey my thanks for all his past contributions on this forum and for the great work he did on my "Sweeneyfied" J3.

As a moderator, I'm in the dark about Brian. He just stopped posting. Moderating can be an unpleasant task, and it could be that Brian simply decided that the frustrations inherent in the job weren't worth it. But since I haven't spoken to Brian about this, it is mere speculation on my part.

Brian provided to many of us a friendly service that few others can provide. He is a very busy scientist, and I know that he many things that can keep him busy in life. I am fortunate in that he may be visiting in my area each year.

Really sorry to hear this. Brian just helped me with my Jupiter-3 over Thanksgiving. I hope everything's all right with him and family. I've enjoyed reading about his projects here.

Woowww, J3 (fixed) produce amazing picture...
What is the best year of J3?

Anybody know how to contact Brian (email?) after he "resign" from RFF?
