My presentation and... a question about CLE !

Hello everybody,

I'm discovering this forum and it looks nice and helpful.🙂

I was traveling around the world for six years 😎 and the last two years with a digital camera (Panasonic DMC FX7). Before, I used three Minox GTE. I bought them during my trips. But I'm back to France now and I take pictures differently.

Lucky to me, I received a Minolta CLE with a 2/40 : it looks so nice, strong and it works perfectly.

But a CLE ! How it works ? 😕 It's so new for me ! I was looking for some informations to "camera quest" and so on, but it's general. Anybody know where I can download the instructions manual ? Or a "how to" web site ? I saw one in a post in this forum, in dutch, but page doesn't work.

Hello and welcome. The CLE is a great camera in many respects. You can use it on manual, where you set the aperture and shutter speed, or you can use it on aperture-priority Auto, where you select the aperture, and the camera uses it's light meter to select the shutter speed to give you a proper exposure. There's not much more other than pointing the camera and focusing the lens.
