Thanks Nate....I am excited to hear about your trip in Central Asia....I really hope you get a chance to go to Myanmar (Burma).....I know that you would love it....

this photo below is funny....I was in Yangon for Eid (the end of Ramadan) and there were many muslim families dressed really nice walking through the city....This gentleman saw me taking photos of someone else and asked me if I could take a photo of his family.....he quickly gathered his family up into a group and I shot the photo...at the time, I really didn't notice the expressions on the children, I think I was looking at the man and his wife....anyways, when I look at this photo, it makes me laugh and remember a good time in Yangon.....

This is just a random street shot close to where Kenji Nagai (Japanese photographer) was shot and killed during the protests in 2007.....I walked by this spot every day and I would always think about what had happened here....

This was something interesting that I happened to notice one day......this gentleman is a "Disposable Lighter Repairman".........he will install some new butane, some new flint, adjust the sprocket on your lighter and adjust the tension spring all for a couple of pennies....I talked to him about it and he told me that there used to be more "Disposable Lighter Repairman" but most of them have quit and now do other jobs....

I'll bet $5 the guy on the extreme right asked you if you wanted to change money 😛

Thanks for updating this thread, Michael. Your photos are all wonderful and they invoke some great memories. I wish Myanmar wasn't so far away! It's such a special place.
