Mystery lens filter

I have a Vorsatzlinse #2 3,5 5cm "Elpik" Does anyone know what this Leitz lens filter fits? The screw in is only 19mm! I have the original box for it as well. It was used by a mining engineer.
 
I think it is meant for the denter thread in the small Elmars: 50/3,5 collapsible and 35/3.5.
That way you can still use the aperture since it is on the front of these lenses. With the A36 filter the aperture handle is behind the filter.

I have a #1, fits old style f3.5 Elmar.

No Jim, it won't. The face of the old Elmars has a ring with aperture numbers etc. An A36 push-on filter fits over, your small filter screws in just around the lens glass surface. Picture by Leicatime
